Fully Remote Power Platform System Owner

The Power Platform System Owner (Hands-On) is responsible for the technical ownership, hands-on delivery, and enterprise-wide governance of the Microsoft Power Platform.
This role combines deep hands-on Power Apps and Power Automate development with platform-level accountability, ensuring the Power Platform is securely and consistently integrated with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE).
You will actively design, build, integrate, and support Power Platform solutions that extend and orchestrate business processes across Dynamics and other enterprise systems.
You’ll have demonstrable experience in being the interface between the technical delivery team and other stakeholders such as Architects, Functional Consultants, Business Analysts and Project Managers. You will also have experience in the introduction and delivery of an Application LifeCycle Management process and are comfortable with delivery and deployment of multiple pipelines working in parallel.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
You will come from a strong Power Platform and Dynamics 365 background, with proven hands-on experience integrating Power Apps and Power Automate with Dynamics 365 F&O and CE in a complex enterprise environment.
You are comfortable working end-to-end, from solution design and development through to deployment, support, and optimisation. You can move seamlessly between building apps, reviewing integrations, diagnosing issues in production, and making platform-level decisions.
Role and Responsibilities
Hands-On Power Platform Engineering
- Design, build, and maintain Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps using Power Apps
- Develop complex Power Automate flows integrating with Dynamics 365 F&O and CE
- Build and support Dataverse-based solutions that interact with Dynamics entities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Power Platform and Dynamics integration issues
Dynamics 365 Integration
- Design and implement integrations between Power Platform and Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
- Build and maintain integrations with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE)
- Leverage standard connectors, custom connectors, APIs, and event-based patterns
- Ensure data consistency, performance, and security across integrated systems
Platform Ownership & Governance
- Act as the hands-on technical owner of the Power Platform estate
- Define and enforce integration patterns, standards, and best practices
- Own environment strategy, security configuration, and data policies
- Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, security, and IT strategy
ALM, DevOps & Quality
- Define and implement Power Platform ALM standards across all environments
- Build, review, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform solutions
- Manage deployments, hotfixes, and production support
- Ensure defects and integration failures are resolved efficiently
Collaboration & Enablement
- Work closely with Dynamics, Architecture, Security, and DevOps teams
- Act as the escalation point for Power Platform and Dynamics integration issues
- Mentor and coach Power Platform developers and integration engineers
- Support and govern citizen development where appropriate
Qualifications / Skills / Experience
- Extensive hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Automate
- Proven experience integrating Power Platform with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
- Proven experience integrating Power Platform with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE)
- Strong understanding of Dataverse, Dynamics data models, and security
- Experience using APIs, custom connectors, and integration patterns
- Strong experience with Power Platform ALM and DevOps
- Familiarity with Azure services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Functions) for integrations
- Experience acting as a technical authority or system owner
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
