We’ve got some exciting news: The Recruitment Brothers Podcast is officially out!

It’s always fun seeing ideas go from “we should do this” to actually becoming something real, and that’s exactly what’s happened here. 😄

Our CEO and co-founder Rickard Fritjofsson, together with Martin Fritjofsson, Business Area and Growth Manager and head of our Barcelona team, have been working on this behind the scenes for a while. They’re not just colleagues but actual brothers, with 17 years between them, which brings some very different generational perspectives to the table. Now, Episode 1 is finally here and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you.

The Recruitment Brothers Podcast is now available in full video format on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube. This means you can watch or listen on whichever platform suits you best.

So, what’s it about?

This podcast is about the reality of working in recruitment and everything that comes with it; from hiring across borders to building teams, managing people, and navigating career growth in today’s global job market.

However, it’s not only about recruitment. Rickard and Martin also bring in themes like leadership, business, life abroad, and not to be forgotten, sports. They’re both passionate sports lovers, so don’t be surprised if an episode takes a turn into football, competition, or what teamwork looks like on and off the field. ⚽️

How it all started

The idea for this podcast didn’t come from a big strategy meeting or a long plan. It actually started during their regular powerwalks. Both Martin and Rickard have always loved listening to podcasts. Sometimes they’d go for walks together, other times on their own; but they’d often call each other to brainstorm ideas, talk about what they’d listened to, and recommend episodes back and forth. Over time, the idea started to take shape until they thought, why not start a podcast of our own? 

And so they did. 

With one brother bringing years of industry experience and the other offering a younger, fresh perspective, each episode blends contrast, insight, and plenty of personality.
