We are looking for a Credit and Collections Specialist with fluent German skills to join a leading coatings and materials company, Hybrid from Spain, Rubi!

What will you do?

  • Conduct credit reviews and manage blocked orders in line with local and EMEA policies.

  • Monitor and manage customer credit risk, taking proactive measures to mitigate exposure.

  • Review open accounts for collection, initiating calls and emails to secure timely payments.

  • Handle incoming customer inquiries regarding balances and overdue items.

  • Maintain accurate customer records, update master data, and support communication automation.

  • Manage dunning processes, negotiate dispute resolutions, and document root causes.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and support integration of new businesses.

  • Participate in process improvements and ensure compliance with internal control procedures.

  • Support and participate in the global standardization process and local process optimization projects.

Candidate profile

  • Fluent in German and English.

  • 1–2 years of experience in credit & collections or customer service.

  • Effective business writing and professional communication skills.

  • Proactive, empathetic, and service-minded with a strong sense of responsibility.

  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP systems (AX knowledge preferred).

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Comfortable working in a matrix organization with global standards.
