We are looking for a Dutch speaking Business Development Representative to a fast growing SaaS company in Stockholm, Sweden!

Out client provides a digital billing and payments platform, revolutionizing a forgotten part of the payments industry: the invoice. We believe it always pays off to treat people well. That's why our invoicing and payments platform is designed to eliminate inconvenience and enhance custom er relations. To ensure continuous growth, they are now looking for a Dutch-speaking Business Development Representative to join our Revenue Ops team in Stockholm.

 

About the role:

As a Business Development Representative, you’ll play a key role in driving growth within our core verticals and beyond. Working closely with our sales and marketing team, you’ll identify and develop new business opportunities. Your ability to understand customer challenges and proactively create value will help shape their expansion.

 

Primary responsibilities:

  • Partner with the commercial team to drive outbound prospecting strategies and secure high-quality meetings.
  • Develop and execute personalized outreach plans, ensuring meaningful engagement with potential clients within the designated territory.
  • Conduct research to identify and qualify leads, leveraging insights to tailor your approach.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to nurture pipeline opportunities, analyze business cases, and expand into new industries.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities alongside other colleagues within the Commercial Team.
  • Support engagement campaigns, participation pre and after events, webinar follow-ups, and keeping a close dialogue with relevant stakeholders.
  • Use our CRM (Salesforce) and various prospecting tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Lusha to execute targeted sales strategies.

What will help you succeed:

  • Previous experience in business development, consultative sales, or outbound prospecting is required, along with a proven track record in booking meetings and generating pipeline.
  • A strong understanding of the sales process and CRM tools is essential (Salesforce experience is a plus).
  • Experience engaging with C-level executives and a solid grasp of the recurring payments landscape is an advantage.
  • Previous experience working with Enterprise clients is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with the MEDDIC methodology is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and similar prospecting tools.
  • Fluency in written and spoken Dutch and English is required; fluency in Swedish is a plus.

 

Current team

  • Two other BDRs who focus on the German market and are based in Stockholm. One of them is moving to a new role internally, so the team will be hiring a replacement. A Salesforce Manager is also part of the team.

Reporting line

  • Reports to the Director of Revenue Operations & Business Development

Collaboration

  • Works closely with an Enterprise Account Executive located in the Netherlands.

Travel

  • Regular trips within the region—roughly one trip per month on average, largely tied to events.
