IT Business Analyst – AI 

 

Our client is looking for an IT Business Analyst – AI to support their transformation into an AI-enabled organisation. In this role, you will help define, document, and improve AI-driven solutions that enhance both internal operations and customer experience. 

You will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical experts to ensure AI initiatives (including automated assistants and agentic bots) are delivered effectively, remain accurate, and evolve over time. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements for AI solutions 

  • Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, workflows, and documentation 

  • Work with cross-functional teams (Product, Data, Engineering, Operations) to align on solution design 

  • Support the development and optimisation of AI prompts for automated assistants 

  • Curate and maintain AI knowledge bases to ensure content is accurate and up to date 

  • Identify opportunities where AI can streamline processes and improve service delivery 

  • Support testing, evaluation, and rollout of AI solutions 

  • Monitor AI performance and collect feedback for continuous improvement 

  • Communicate complex AI concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders 

 

What We’re Looking For 

  • Experience as a Business Analyst (preferably in digital, automation, AI, or operational environments) 

  • Strong analytical and documentation skills 

  • Proven ability to work with stakeholders and translate needs into structured requirements 

  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset 

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment 

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills 

 

Nice to Have 

  • Exposure to AI tools, automation, or conversational design 

  • Basic understanding of prompt engineering (training can be provided) 

  • Experience with customer journeys and operational process improvement 

  • Familiarity with integrations across platforms such as CRM, ERP, web tools, or internal systems
