Job description

Our client is seeking a Senior Platform Manager – Finance Platform to lead the transformation and governance of its global finance technology landscape. This is a strategic leadership role with accountability for end-to-end finance platform delivery across a complex, multinational environment.

The position offers the opportunity to professionalise, integrate, and optimise finance technology platforms at scale. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in aligning finance strategy with disciplined, value-driven technology execution.

About the company

Our client is the world’s largest provider of flexible workspace solutions, operating thousands of locations across more than 100 countries. With a strong digital-first strategy and a global footprint spanning cities, towns, and transport hubs worldwide, the organisation is redefining how and where people work through technology-driven innovation.

What will you do?

  • Own the end-to-end Finance Technology roadmap across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Treasury, and core Finance domains, ensuring logical sequencing and coordinated delivery.
  • Act as the single point of accountability for Finance platform change across AR (Order to Cash), AP (Procure to Pay), Treasury, and Finance (GL, consolidation, reporting, tax/VAT).
  • Define and drive platform strategies focused on standardisation, automation, simplification, and value realisation.
  • Ensure Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations operates as the core finance backbone, with aligned and well-governed satellite platforms.
  • Take full accountability for delivery outcomes across internal teams, external vendors, and shared technology functions.
  • Identify and resolve delivery risks, interdependencies, and resource constraints to protect timelines and quality.
  • Own and prioritise the Finance change backlog in partnership with Finance leadership, ensuring transparent trade-offs and sequencing decisions.
  • Translate finance strategy and operational challenges into structured, executable technology initiatives.
  • Resolve cross-domain priority conflicts to deliver integrated, joined-up outcomes rather than siloed improvements.
  • Drive measurable benefits including reduced manual processing, improved reconciliation, faster close cycles, enhanced reporting, improved system stability, and stronger user experience.
  • Ensure finance platforms remain stable, resilient, and operationally fit for purpose during transformation.
  • Address technology debt, data quality issues, and control weaknesses through structured roadmap planning.
  • Lead and manage a delivery-focused team of approximately 10 professionals, including project managers and business analysts.
  • Provide governance, structure, accountability, and coaching to ensure disciplined delivery execution.
  • Engage strategically with platform vendors, including Microsoft, to leverage roadmap opportunities and influence future capabilities.
  • Own prioritisation and sequencing decisions within the Finance Technology roadmap and escalate material risks where required.

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience in senior technology, platform, or product leadership roles within finance or enterprise systems environments.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, ideally with a background as a functional consultant or finance systems leader.
  • Strong understanding of finance operations across AR, AP, Treasury, General Ledger, financial reporting, consolidation, and tax/VAT.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-stream global technology roadmaps within matrixed organisations.
  • Demonstrated accountability for delivery outcomes across cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • Experience leading delivery teams and coordinating cross-domain dependencies.
  • Strong conflict resolution, prioritisation, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Solid accounting and financial controls knowledge, including reporting and consolidation concepts.
  • Commercially focused mindset with a strong emphasis on efficiency, automation, and value realisation.
  • Ability to operate confidently at senior leadership level, influencing and constructively challenging stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Technology, or a related field.
  • MBA or postgraduate qualification is advantageous.

What you’re offered

  • A strategic leadership role with global accountability across finance technology platforms.
  • The opportunity to lead transformative finance initiatives in a multinational environment.
  • Exposure to senior leadership across Finance and Technology functions.
  • A collaborative and innovation-driven culture focused on digital excellence.
  • Applications accepted from all Eastern European countries, offering broad regional accessibility.

This role is critical in ensuring finance technology change is structured, controlled, and value-driven. It offers the opportunity to shape a modern, automated, and globally integrated finance platform landscape.
