Job description
We are looking for a Business Development Senior Manager to drive growth in the Softline (textile, apparel, footwear, etc.) quality solutions sector across Spain, Portugal and Italy.
The Business Development Senior Manager is responsible for new business development and expanding existing accounts by prospecting, generating leads, converting customers, and offering tailored value-added solutions. This role requires a strategic and proactive approach to market analysis, sales execution, and customer relationship management.

What will you do?
- Assess the market landscape and identify key business opportunities.
- Define key segments by country and establish priority rankings.
- Identify short, mid, and long-term opportunities in underdeveloped segments/customers/countries.
- Develop and execute business development strategies based on identified opportunities.
- Create business plans with revenue targets, promotional strategies, and necessary resources.
- Actively prospect new customers through cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
- Manage a pipeline of potential customers, ensuring successful conversion.
- Customize solutions for prospects and existing clients to expand the portfolio.
- Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate, and close deals.
- Represent customers internally and work closely with operations and multi-functional teams.
- Identify relevant channels for brand exposure such as trade fairs and industry events.
Candidate profile
- University degree in business commerce or a relevant discipline.
- Proven experience in sales with a strong track record in new business development and customer acquisition.
- Background within the Textile, Apparel, or Footwear industries.
- Basic understanding or experience with quality control management, manufacturing, supply chain management, or sourcing.
- Knowledge of quality regulatory and legal requirements is a plus.
- Fluent in French and English, with excellent persuasive communication and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation skills with expertise in sales and communication techniques.
- Demonstrated leadership, self-driven attitude, and goal-oriented mindset.
- Strong analytical, data-driven decision-making, and IT skills.
